Camping Trip Part 2

The camping trip was fantastic! I had imagined it to be really exciting. Well, it was even more exciting than I had thought.
First we got to the beach through a ravine. It was a 6km walk! But I think we might have ended up walking a bit more, because we got lost and then had to get through some plants with spikes to get back to the right way.
It was really exhausting to carry all my stuff for so long. I guess I can learn from that to not take so many unnecesary things with me next time.
We spent the night next to a wonderful, small, rocky beach. Hardly anybody was there, so we had the whole beach for us alone most of the time.
The underwater views were increadible! There was so much wonderful wildlife and the water was full of shining fishes!
At night I was so exhausted, that I think I was the person in the group who slept best. Almost everybody stayed up for hours cursing the stones under their sleeping bags.
We didn't go back on the same way on which we had gotten there. This time we took a much shorter way. But it felt as if it had been much longer, as we had to walk up a mountain.
I can't believe that I forgot to take my camara with me...

Camping Trip Part1

After the success of my first adventure, I thought I would start planning my second one:
I'm going camping!!
For the first time in my life!!!
With a group of friends, so I don't really need to plan a lot. This means, this is going to be a rather short article, but I'll write it anyway.
So here's what I'm going to do:
1. Doing all my homework and studying for every exam I have on Friday (or earlier), as I won't have time for it this weekend.
2. Phoning my friends to ask what food I am in charge for (everybody is bringing something different)
3. Learning how to open a tent. (Don't laugh! As I've said, I've never been camping before!)
4. Taking enough water with me, as I doubt I will have the possibiloty to buy it there.
5. Write a faboulous article aboit my camping trip and publish it here.

Swimming to "La Barra" Part 2

Guess where I was yesterday!!! (Yes, I know I've writen it down at the title)
We had a free day here in Spain, so I used it to go on my first adventure.
The way to "la barra" on its own was already an adventure. I would hage never thought that the underwaterworld so near to the coast could be that increadible. This are some photos I took on the way (or on the way back, I don't know which ones are which):

When I finally arrived there, I was so surprised. It was not even similar to what I had expected. It was much wider and more slippery. Walking on it was dificult at first, until I got used to it more or less.
I didn't really see any sea urchins, exept for this thing, but I don't really know what it is, could be a stone or just a shadow. Please tell me in the comments what you think about it.

I've left the best think of my adventure for the end. On the other side of "la barra" there was a small place which was like a semi circle of water, where the wave where pushing the water up and down. And every time it was pushed down, the water which was on the stones fall down like a small waterfall.

And guess what I did (apart from taking photos, with waterdrops on my camara)! I jumped down. And then the water pushed me up and down and up and down and when it went up again I climbed out.
I'm looking forwad to my next adventure.
Thank you for reading this and please leave a comment about the sea urchin photo!

Swimming to "La barra" Part 1

So here I am. Ready for my first adventure. I thought it would be suitable to start up with something that's not to dificult, just so I don't spent ages between the first part and the second part of this article. So this is what I've decided:I'm swimming to... "La barra!!!!"I know I've already writen it in the title, but I wanted to write it here anyway.
I guess those of you who don't live in Gran Canaria will be trying to figure out what I'm talking about right now. Well, don't worry about looking it up in the internet, because I'm going to explain it right now:
It's a rocky place which you can only reach swimming (or in a small boat, but nobody does that, and it's not as exciting...). But only if the tide is low, because if it's to high, it disappears underwater.
I've never been to this place, but I know that it is full of sea urchins and that the water on the other side of it is quite dangerous.
So why have I chosen this location for my first adventure? Well, I guess that mainly it was because it was the first think I thought of and I didn't want to think more about (jajaja, just joking). Ok, back to the topic: I chose it because it was easy and achievable, but at the same time challenging and a bit scary (the part with the sea urchins). Also, I will not have to spent any money on it, and I don't have to leave the island, so I can perfectly make it on a normal weekend, instead of waiting for the next holidays.
So how will I achieve it? Here's what I'm planning to do:

1. Researching at which time of the day the tide will be low. This step is very important, because I don't want to spend hours at the beach waiting, only to realise that the tide is increasing.

2. Decide which of the available hours fits best (so that I still have enough time for my homework and exams)

3. Choose a weekend for which I don't have anything planned yet and during which I have not to many exams to learn for.

4. Do all my homework on the same day I get them during the week before the weekend for which I have planned my adventure, so I don't have a pille of not-yet-done homework, which end up getting me to change my plans for next weekend.

5. Stand up early (My definition for early on a weekend is around 8-8:30) and finish whatever I have to do.

6. Go to the beach at the time which I have choosen with my underwater camara, but without any other valueble objects, as I will have to leave my stuff on the beach.

7. Swim towards "la barra". (Finally!)

8. Walking around, enjoying the views as much as it is possible to enjoy them without glasses and taking pictures.

9. And finally (skipping all the steps during which I swim back) I will write a great article about my experience and publish it on my new blog!!! (which had 3 visits yesterday!! I din't expect that, so thank you for reading my articles everybody and please leave a comment!!)

Searching for excitement

This blog is going to be about my personal experiences in search for exciting adventures to break the routine I, and I think most teenagers who care for their education, go through daily.
I'm going to organise this blog in different articles of two parts each. I might do some articles with more parts in the future, but for now, lets stick to those two parts.

1. Planning:
This part will include some information about what I'm going to do, and how I intend to do it.
2. Adventure:
This part will be the actual summary of what I've done. I could publish it just some days after the planning, or it could take me weeks or even months (in these case I'll publish other, smaller adventures between both parts).

I don't mind if you read only the second part of each article. It's probably going to be the most interesting one. The first part will be more a way for myself to get organised than anything else. But it might also be useful if you want to live a similar adventure and you don't really know where to start. But you should never just do exactly the same as I do. After all, live is not about reliving other's lives, but about living your own live, however you want to live it.

So here's a warning about this new blog of mine which I've just started:
I'm going to start small! Don't expect me to start up climbing an active volkan or going for a tour on my own through the own rainforest.
I would love to do those those things, but I'm just 15 and I've never lived a real adventure before. I'M NOT INDIANA JONES!!
But I know that one day I'm going to live really increadible adventures. And who knows, I might end up climbing an active volcan or going on a tour through the rainforest one day. But I don't want to start living adventures one day. I want to start today. And that's what I'm doing right know, just by taking the decicion to do so.
